WHO IS NICOLE?
Raised in upstate New York by Spanish and Lebanese immigrants, Nicole grew up with a unique insight into the world, and an increasing passion to improve it. Whether societal, organizational, or project-based, if there’s an obstacle to progress, she strives to resolve it. In her 14+ years of civic action, content development, and communications, she’s contributed to campaigns for Amnesty International, Voter Choice Massachusetts, Justice for App Workers, Mass Senior Action Council, Interfaith Ceasefire Coalition, and many more.
Described by colleagues as a “Swiss Army Knife,” she seamlessly transitions between writing, filmmaking, design, social media, press relations, and project management. Self-taught in many programs, including design platforms and content management systems, Nicole understands the need to continue learning and adapting to ever-evolving technologies, and she’s comfortable jumping into unfamiliar territory.
While Nicole prioritizes project efficiency, she also recognizes the role that team morale plays in it. Whether it’s having her green rubber chicken, Señor Fernando Pollo, make appearances on team zoom calls, or bringing Spanish and Lebanese treats for everyone in the office to try, she does her best to foster joy and camaraderie in any team that she joins.
When she isn’t immersed in multimedia campaigns, you can find Nicole working on her own film projects, catching up on global news, engaging in civic actions, dabbling in stand-up comedy, practicing Spanish and French, playing soccer, or tapping her feet at a jazz club. You might also find her laughing at the absurdity of professional summaries written in the third person (when everyone knows the person wrote it themselves).
